In our third episode of My Beloved Americans, the President declares we are in an age of accountability, and invites us to examine the American Dream. Distinguished Guests Marsha Rivera and Davey Wilkes - friends from graduate school - share their observations, stories and relationship to it.
We remember the story of Stone Soup, discuss the value of learning partners in creating accountability, and reflect on what the American Dream could look like if it was expanded to take be a more community-focused dream.

Marsha Rivera (she/her)
Marsha Rivera is a self-described “ex-perfectionist” and is taking a venture into her creative side as she begins her podcast “Marsha Talks.” A native daughter to California, lover of arts & crafts, and soul singer at heart, she is the first person on both sides of her family to have a master’s degree, which is a source of pride for her as she was deemed at an “at-risk” student in high school. She has come far from her truancy days and wants to show up for young women by creating a container for laughter, excitement, adventure, and engagement. She believes the following days to come will require a sense of humor and a lot of heart, so she intends to provide her funny insights to put a little pep in your step. Marsha is certified in human resources professional and has managed projects and teams in the mental health field, corporate, non-profit, and finance sectors. Davey Wilkes (he/him)
Davey Ethan Wilkes is a coach, consultant, and full-hearted advocate for growth of all kinds. He helps organizations and individuals increase their capacity and get clear on where they are and where they want to be. Davey has worked across all sectors and industries helping people increase their awareness, make the most of change, and build relationships that last. He has over 15 years of experience in business and organizational development and a Masters in Leadership and Organizational Development from Saybrook University.
